We believe the public have a right to know about the inner workings of government
If Parliament decides to spend your tax money on bombs to drop in Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan then we should be able to know the true reasons behind those murderous decisions.
The recent Chilcot Enquiry highlighted the illegal invasion of Iraq but there are plenty of these incidents in recent history if you look hard enough (See Operation Northwoods).
9/11 and threat of weapons of mass destruction was used by the government and media to infect a nation with fear.
Despite the fear mongering over 1 million people marched to protest the war but instead Britain decided to join the USA in an illegal invasion of Iraq.
The subsequent conflict has led to over half a million deaths in the Middle East with the conflict on-going and showing no signs of stopping.
Government needs to be transparent and the public must know the real reasons behind these decisions.
